Cardzware.com cannot be held responsible for the privacy policies or content of other web sites. However Cardzware.com has taken time and care to make sure the links provided are to genuine sites of a responsible nature. We urge you where possible to read their PRIVACY POLICY and reassure yourself that your information is safe BEFORE giving out your personal details. Many sites share their information with other sites and use words such as ‘generally we do not share information’, be careful this means they have and if the need would again sell or let others have access to your email address. Cardzware.com does NOT do this, we have no need to share visitor information with others, or sell users information. Cardzware.com allows a user to email a URL to a friend. For this to work you need to enter your friends. This information IS NOT SAVED we do NOT store this, it’s strictly a peer to peer process and does not involve Cardzware.com or third party applications or companies. Cardzware Shopify App Privacy Policy

Cardzware “the App” provides a print-on-demand personalised greeting card solution to Retailers who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Name
• Business Name
• Business Address
• Email Address
• Web Address
• Phone Number

We do not access Shopify payment information of the retailer or the retailer’s customers.

Additionally, once an order has been placed by your customer via the Cardzware app, we collect the following types of personal information from your customer:

• Name
• Address
• Email Address
• Phone Number

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information and updates to our products or services.

Types of Retailer’s Customer Data that Cardzware Collects:

• All cookies used by the Cardzware App are completely anonymous and do not contain any personal information whatsoever.
• A single binary cookie is used to record whether a customer has visited before or not. We use this cookie to display helpful hints for the customer when using it for the first time.
• We do not cross-link cookies with any 3rd parties in any way.
• They are solely used to retain information pertinent to the artwork specification chosen by that user.
• Only Cardzware admins have access to this data during the period it is retained.

• When ordering a card; a customer types into text areas (messages, short notes, etc) or variable fields (firstname, surname, age, etc).
• This information is retained for the purposes of artwork creation only. Only retailers and Cardzware admins have access to this data.

• Photos are used in the creation of artwork only.
• Only Retailers and Cardzware admins have access to this data.

• Cardzware uses Print Partners to fulfill orders, only the customer’s Name and Address data are passed pre-encrypted over SSL.
• The data is stored in encrypted format in our database before being passed via SSL to the Print Partner.
• Artwork files are also sent to the Print Partner over SSL.

Customer Data Retention:

• All cookies expire within hours and are completely deleted.
• There is one exception; the binary cookie to determine if a customer has used the Cardzware App via a retailer’s website before; it never expires.

• Currently, text values and artwork files are held 30 days before being completely deleted from all of our systems.

• Currently, photos and artwork files are held 30 days before being deleted from all of our systems.

• Name and Address data is retained for a period of 30 days before being completely deleted from all of our systems.

Data Removal for Retailer’s Customers:

All personal data related to an order is automatically removed from the Cardzware platform within 30 days of creation. Including names, addresses, and any artworks.

Requests to erase data are not needed as they are required to be actioned within 30 days. The above policy fulfills this need automatically.

All of our Print Partners are required to adhere to the above policy.

Data Removal for The Retailer

Once you uninstall or delete the app from your Shopify store, Cardzware will automatically delete all relevant data related to you or your customers within 30 days.

Sharing (The Retailer’s) Personal Information

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example; when your customers place an order via your website for a Cardzware product), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
