These Payment Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Cardzware service by registered retailers. By registering for and using Cardzware, retailers agree to these terms.
2. Credit Card Information and Requirements
As part of the signup process, retailers are required to add a credit card to their Cardzware account. This credit card will be used to charge for each order printed and dispatched.
Cardzware requires credit cards that support Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). This includes additional verification steps during the purchase process, such as using a phone or an additional password. Credit cards or banks that do not support SCA are not accepted.
Accepted credit card types include Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro. The description on your credit card statement for charges will be “Cardzware”.
3. Credit Card Validation and Pre-Authorization
To validate your credit card, Cardzware will pre-authorize a charge of $1 when you add it to your account.
Once the pre-authorization is confirmed, the $1 will be refunded, and charges will only be applied to your card when you receive an order through your website.
4. Order Batching and Charging Process
Cardzware batches greeting card orders daily. All orders placed within a designated time period each day will be batched together.
The total value of the cards ordered within this batching period will be calculated and charged to the retailer’s credit card on file.
This batching process is designed to minimize processing costs, thereby keeping the charges lower for our retailers. By batching orders, Cardzware eliminates the need to impose a processing charge for each individual order.
5. Billing Cycle
Retailers will be charged for the total value of orders in each batch. The charges will be applied to the credit card on file on a daily basis, following the order batching process.
Cardzware is a personalized print-on-demand company. All products are unique and produced once ordered.
Reprints will not be provided at Cardzware’s expense if the customer misspelled a name, or word, uploaded a poor-quality image to a card, or simply changed their mind.
If the order delivery address was incorrect, Cardzware will not be held responsible and will not offer replacements or refunds. It is the responsibility of the Retailer to capture the correct information from customers.
However, Cardzware will provide a free replacement or credit to your Cardzware account if a manufacturing error is reported within 30 days of receiving the product.
8. Dispute Resolution
Retailers with queries or disputes related to the charges must contact Cardzware within 20 Days of the charge.
Cardzware will investigate and resolve any disputes in a timely manner, and adjustments will be made where appropriate.
9. Data Security and Privacy
10. Changes to Payment Terms
Cardzware reserves the right to modify these payment terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to retailers through email.
